What to expect
I will send a link within a week of the shoot to preview approx 20-40 *lightly edited* images on a password protected online gallery. Clients will be given one week to decide which images they would like to purchase (there is a $50 credit towards digital images/prints - please look under investment for pricing). The whole process can take anywhere from 2-3 weeks, so please plan accordingly.
Newborn/Babies
For newborn photo shoot, it is best for the shoot to occur within the first couple of weeks of the babies life. They tend to be a little more willing to be molded and maneuvered, and baby acne usually is not a problem before the third week.
Newborn shoots will often take some time, so plan for at least a couple of hours. We want a warm and sleepy baby for those memorable pictures! So I completely understand that there will be the need to stop, take some breaks and feed the baby.
Dress you baby in something you love! Nothing too busy (avoid graphic tees and logos), but fun pops of colors are fantastic for some great pictures. Also, depending on your preferences, your baby can have nothing on or a simple white onsie! Whatever you feel comfortable with. Fun accessories are also great to work with. Anything from a fun hat to a girly ruffled diaper cover, whatever you would love to photograph your baby in.
Children/Teens and Families
Wear something you feel and look great in. I think bright pops of colors are fantastic and will definitely make your pictures stand out! It's also great to have great textures and layers, such as, scarves, fitted jackets, and fun jewelry.
If you have any fun accessories to work with like a bright umbrella or great hats. Absolutely bring them, we'll play around and see what happens!
